Inanna: lapis lazuli, dove feather, water reed, African lion mane.

Inanna, the ancient Sumerian goddess. Followers would wear her story carved into a cylinder made out of lapis lazuli, the same gem she is depicted wearing as a necklace. This cylinder could be rolled onto fresh clay revealing the tale as a pictogram. Her most famous myth of the descent and return from the underworld would continue to morph into future mythologies representing this goddess of love, war and fertility. Of the many symbols associated with her, here I have combined the most common of the day: lapis lazuli, dove feather, water reed, African lion mane.
